Cal. 45-70 GOVT. S# 132-18575. Bbl. 22" with banded front sight having user changeable brass bead; quarter rib at rear having folding leaf rear sight. Mfg. 1981 with Alex Henry forend and red pad buttstock; "warning marks" on barrel (initiated late 1977). UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: good 2 piece brown cardboard box with paperwork and NECG receiver sight designed to mount in place of a factory scope ring. CONDITION: an occasional very faint mark, but overall near excellent to include bore. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (25-5660/NW). MODERN. $800-1,200.
